Regular security patches through Windows Update are perfectly OK to run. For manufacturer device driver updates, our advice is: "If it's not broke, don't fix it.", as installing the incorrect version of a device driver may cause serious problems with the tablet.
However, we do not recommend performing any Operating System upgrades on the tablet.
